Discontinued distillery bottling of Glenmorangie Port Wood Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The Quinta Ruban has replaced this bottling going forward and again the quinta ruban 12 year old has now been replaced by the 14 year old version as modern casks seem to take longer to get the same results from the maturation process.
This is a highly sought after whisky and very collectable and also very hard to find.
This unique malt whisky initially matured in American oak casks.
Then transferred into casks or ‘pipes’ previously contained Port for a further period of maturation.
